Finance Business Partner | Hereford (Hybrid) | Permanent Salary: up to £75,000

The role will business-partner the different group business units, will set the high performance finance standard and capabilities and will help drive and support the group’s growth, development and performance to deliver the ambitious 5-year plan.
Under the leadership of a recently appointed Group Finance Director, my client are embarking on a finance transformation project that will re-purpose and upskill the group finance function to:
Leverage technology to standardise, simplify and automate financial business processes, reporting and FP&A
* Re-purpose the service delivery model for accounting and group finance reporting and analysis
* Integrate x2 acquired businesses to provide the business, finance and IT platform to grow and deliver improved returns.
* Develop a business-partner model to group finance across decision support and Integrated Risk Management
This transformation should ensure that the business remains competitive, continues to grow and adapts as the partner of choice in their field.
Key skills & experience
* Outstanding business partner who will actively contribute to the development of a high performance and values led business.
* Experience of building / developing an effective financial control and governance framework
* Experience of designing and implementing best practice financial reporting and analysis
* Experience and working knowledge of ERP systems is essential (to include the ability to automate data input/outputs)
* Strong technical accounting background, with proven academic track record (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA Qualification) and good attention to detail
* Competent & confident professional, with strong communication skills, capable of interacting with wide range of Key decision makers in the business
* Excellent commercial awareness - balance of cash, operating costs and capex
* Ability to continuously develop and support high-performing x-functional teams that deliver the best possible business outcome.
* Ability to work under pressure in order to meet the ongoing/flexible demands of the business
* Proactive, intuitive and curious mindset to support business opportunities and mitigate business
* risks
